Please fill out the appropriate application for the pet you would like to adopt (dog or cat). The application will be e-mailed to us immediately upon completion. Please call us at the shelter if you have any issues with the online application. Make sure your application is filled out completely. We will not consider any incomplete applications.
A foster home is a temporary home for an animal until the Marshall County Animal Shelter finds a permanent home for the animals. If you are interested in providing a permanent home for one of our animals, you should fill out an adoption application instead.
*All fosters are required to be flexible and available to contact as needed and able to return the animal to the shelter at any time for potential adopters. Also, we require home visits before any foster application can be approved. All residents of the home, including pets, must be present at the time of the home visit.
The Marshall County Animal Rescue League/Shelter requires that all potential fosters complete an application to foster. However, this does not guarantee foster of a specific animal. Our main concern is that all of our animals in need of a foster home are placed in homes where they are best suited. The animal that you chose might not be the best possible fit for your family, and if that is the case, we will be happy to work with you to find the right foster animal for you. Please make sure you answer all questions fully and in detail. We will not consider any incomplete applications.
