About us
Together, the Marshall County Animal Rescue League and the Marshall County Commission Work to provide a haven for stray cats and dogs. The rescue league manages the shelter and all costs for the care of cats and kittens are provided by the rescue league.
OUR MISSION:
To prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats in our community through education on the responsibilities of pet ownership; and through our animal shelter, to provide a clean and stress-free temporary home for needy dogs and cats. And provide spay and neuter services to the local community through the Tiffany Dlesk Spay/Neuter Clinic. Also, to promote responsible pet ownership and prevent the spread of animal borne diseases. To provide a temporary shelter for stray, unwanted or homeless animals, to maintain a vigorous adoption program to include health screening, vaccinations and mandatory spay or neutering of dogs and cats.
Our Services:
- We educate the public on the care and needs of pets and animal-wefare problems.
- We educate the public on the pet overpopulation problem & spaying and neutering.
- We take in pets from people who do not want them or can’t take care of them an longer.
- We house stray animals and find them homes if they aren’t claimed.
- We seek good homes for pet adoption.
- We do everything possible to make the animals in our care safe, comfortable, and healthy.
